Co-op Success Stories in Rwanda

I (Jean-Louis) live in Rwanda, a small landlocked (but beautiful!) country in the heart of Africa.  With a GDP per capita of less than 700 US$, Rwanda is the 18th poorest country of the world as of 2015 (World Bank).   The great majority (more than 75%) of the population still lives in rural areas with limited access to the comforts of urban life.  One of the things that has helped our population reach better living conditions is the creation of co-operatives in rural areas.   Continue reading “Co-op Success Stories in Rwanda”
